The battery’s own SOC
Read from the BMS, so it stays right even when the inverter’s estimate drifts.
Felicity batteries offer a lot of storage for the money. Felicity Monitor adds the one thing they lack: a simple, local way to see inside them from your phone.

Felicity Solar’s FLB series LiFePO4 batteries are found everywhere from European homes to off-grid installations in Africa and the Middle East, often paired with Felicity or Voltronic-style hybrid inverters. They work well, but what they report usually stops at the inverter display: a percentage and a voltage.
Felicity Monitor reads the battery’s own BMS through its RS485 port. You see the state of charge as the battery calculates it, every cell voltage, temperatures and alarms, on a small screen by the battery and on a dashboard on your home Wi-Fi. Home Assistant gets everything through MQTT. Nothing goes to a cloud unless you decide so, and nothing is ever written to the battery.
Read from the BMS, so it stays right even when the inverter’s estimate drifts.
All sixteen cells with the spread between highest and lowest.
Cell and electronics temperatures, important in hot climates and closed rooms.
Each protection event with its time, so you know what happened while you were away.
Open it in any browser at home. Optional remote access when you travel.
MQTT discovery and a JSON API for every other automation tool.
The chart shows when the battery started charging, when it reached full, how hard the house drew on it in the evening and how much was left at sunrise. In regions with daily power cuts, it shows exactly how many hours the battery bought you.
With the optional remote history you keep three years of data and can export it to a spreadsheet.

An RJ45 cable from the battery’s RS485 port to the box, a USB charger for power. The box is 70 × 70 × 36 mm with a colour screen.
It shares its design with Pylon-Monitor, which already monitors Pylontech batteries in many homes, and uses an RS485 / CAN board and firmware written for the Felicity BMS.
Each box is built, flashed and tested in our workshop near Paris before it ships, by the team that makes Pylon-Monitor for Pylontech owners.
